The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, April 30 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get engaged.
Also coming up, Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) she’s the new district attorney. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will come up with a revenge plan on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get into another argument with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will walk into the ranch and tell Victor and Victoria she’s not backing down. “I think you’ll be laughed out of court.” But Victor and Victoria will remind Phyllis that Christine has just been sworn in as DA. “In other words, your worst enemy holds the power to deliver justice,” Victor will add. “In your case it’ll be swift.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Jack Walks In And Spots Patty At The GCAC Bar
At the GCAC, Kyle will have an unexpected encounter with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). He’ll ask why she’s still in town. “Haven’t you heard?” she’ll reply. “I am free.” Patty will say he must have been shocked when he saw her and her father together. She’ll also say she made some headway with Jack.
She’ll tell Kyle there seems to be a rupture in Jack’s love story with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). “My parents will be back together and if you do anything to impede that,” he’ll reply. “I will consider it my mission to make your life miserable.”
Victoria will walk in, just as Patty walks away and she’ll say it doesn’t look like Patty’s aged a day. “Are you still defending Victor for locking my father up with that lunatic?” Kyle will ask. Victoria will say he has no definitive proof that her father was behind Patty’s return.
“Oh come on Victoria,” Kyle will reply. “You know he hired Patty Williams.” He’ll say he believes that deep down she has real guilt about what Victor has done. Victoria will say her father’s a flawed man. “But so is yours, so we have that in common.”
At the Abbott estate, Billy will tell Jack he has some news to share with him. “Sally’s pregnant, we’re having a baby,” he’ll say. “And I should probably tell you I asked her to marry me.” Jack will say he hopes they’re very happy. Billy will say he’s sorry, he knows what Jack’s going through.
But Jack will say he’s glad Billy’s so happy. As for him, he’ll admit Diane’s still not talking to him. But he’s trying to come up with a plan to use Patty against Victor. “Maybe I could figure out a way for her to come to my side and think of us as a team,” Jack will tell his brother. So when Jack walks into the GCAC and spots Patty at the bar, he’ll start grinning.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Assumes He Wants Her In Prison
Meanwhile, Sally will get together with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at the Chancellor Park Cafe. She’ll say Billy’s excited about the baby and he wants them to be a family. “It just struck me that everything you said was about Billy’s reaction, what about yours?” Audra will reply.
Sally will tell her friend she’s incredibly happy. Then she’ll say Billy asked her to marry him. Audra will ask if they’ve set a date yet and notice there’s no ring on her finger. “You did accept Billy’s proposal?” Audra will ask. Sally will say not yet. “I knew something was off,” Audra will reply. “You’re not ready, are you?”
So Sally will tell Audra she was engaged when she was in LA. But her fiancé fell for another woman. She’ll wonder if Billy will change his mind. Audra will say she knows what it’s like to let old wounds build up an armor. Then Audra will leave and Billy will arrive. He’ll ask if she’s thought about his proposal. “Yes,” Sally will reply. “It’s a definite yes.”
Finally, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will tell his wife he’s proud of her for taking the DA position. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will walk in and tell Cricket he’s happy for her. But he’ll add that it’s his mom’s worst nightmare.
Daniel will say Phyllis told him Victor faked proof against her. Cricket will say she heard about some evidence, Victoria came to her. But if the Newmans have something, she’ll have to take a look at it. Daniel will tell her his mom said it was fabricated.
Then Phyllis will walk in and Christine will tell her she’s the new DA and her first case may involve her. Phyllis will turn to Daniel and call him a traitor for blabbing. “It kills me to my core to know that my kids have chosen Victor Newman over me,” she’ll add. “You want to see me go to prison, don’t you?”
